I don't usually write reviews but I don't feel Lil's deserves a negative review without rebuttal. I have been there 3 times. The first time I went I expected decent food at inflated prices. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice filet mignon that was very reasonably priced. I believe it was served with french fries with a fancy name. To me, all french fries are either lousy or OK. In other words, nothing special. These were OK. The steak was very good and cooked to perfection. (Rare) On my second visit I don't remember what I had but I do know when I was asked to go a third time I did not hesitate. It was Mexican night and I did not expect much. I love Mexican food but this was not a Mexican restaurant. I ordered three different kinds of taco's. Fish, chicken and chorizo/bacon. I had eaten fish tacos in Florida and was unimpressed. Take 'em or leave 'em. Lil's were excellent. The chicken.and chorizo/bacon were also very good. I washed those down with some excellent Nimble Hill beer and went away a happy camper. Do not be afraid of Lil's. The atmosphere is nice. Great fish tank! The waitress was excellent. She answered all our questions and served our food promptly. We will be back.

We were on a wander last Saturday and stopped at Lil's for lunch. They have a deck overlooking the lake and sun had come out. We had a buffalo wing pizza and Grandma's salad. The salad was crisp and tasty and the personal size pizza was just right, we split both. The crust was nice and crisp. I am generally not a fan of chicken on a pizza (or pineapple for that matter), but this was tasty; I had 2 slices. Service was great on this slow day. And my husband could keep track of the football games that were on in the bar.... you get the picture.

I keep going back to this restaurant hoping that it gets better, or that I'm just ordering the wrong things. After 5 visits, I have to say it's just not worth it. The Steak & Cheese egg rolls are fatty. The burrito is not a burrito - really just a bland wrap. Most of the food lacks a kick - even the firecracker rolls!! I've been disappointed every time I have gone here. On a positive note, you can get a decent martini & craft beers. The waitstaff has always been attentive, polite and overall 5 stars, but quite honestly the food is not.

it was very small for what it was and the food tasted a bit strange. poor service. there was only one bartender who doubled as a waitress. I waited what felt like an eternity for my food then had to go to the bar to get it bc the bartender was so flustered she couldn't leave from behind the bar. please staff your restaurant in the future.

We went here two weeks ago. Very disappointed! Worst food ever! Scampi sauce was plain vinegar, everything is cheap, bread , margerine, and salad gross. Open face roast beef was .. Two thin slices of cheap bread with turkey stuffing killed with spices, topped with roast beef and chicken gravy. Mashed potatoes dry. Never again! Complete waste of time and money! Had to eat when we got home!! One star only because I had to pick a star to post this.
